I Grow Cold ... I Grow Cold ... I Shall Not Wear the Bottoms of My Trousers Rolled

Apparently, T.S. Eliot was wrong. February was the cruelest month. The way the temperature keeps going up and down, it's a wonder more people aren't sick.

On the plus side, spring is a lot closer than it was before. Still walking to one's car in twenty-degree temperatures like I did this past Saturday night is not fun. Even if you're a Northerner.

November Is the Cruelest Month

I got another virus on my computer and my warranty has expired so I have no way to pay for repairs at this time. With luck, this should change by next week but in the meantime, I won't be posting much for obvious reasons.

The funny thing is that if I still had money coming in from either a paycheck or my unemployment insurance, I could settle this easily but unfortunately, I'm not in that situation. I keep filling out applications but I'm beginning to wonder why. At least I have food stamps now so I won't starve but I'm still way too dependent on the kindness of friends and family -- and I don't want to be.

September Is the Cruelest Month

I'm sure I'm not the first one who has said that but since I'm not a New Yorker and lost no loved ones on 9/11, I have little to say apart from that.

As always, my condolences to those who lost loved ones on this date.

Those who have exploited this tragedy for political gain should be ashamed.
