Deborah Berebichez. A Mexican physicist, data scientist, TV host, educator, and blogger of Jewish descent who is known for promoting education in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. In 2004, she became the first Mexican woman to graduate with a Ph.D. in physics from Stanford University. Sometimes going by the name of "The Science Babe", she has appeared in television and radio segments where she explained scientific concepts in ordinary life.

She has also been featured in the television show "You Have Been Warned" (a.k.a. "Outrageous Acts of Science") on The Science Channel, and among other things, she was a recipient for Top Latina Tech Blogger by the Association of Latinos in Social Media LATISM.

Aubrey Plaza (1984 - ). The daughter of a Puerto Rican father and a mother of Irish and English descent. She is best known for her role as an intern on the NBC TV series Parks and Recreation.

Alexis Bledel (1981 - ). Daughter of an Argentine father of Danish descent and a Mexican mother. Her first language is Spanish and she did not learn English until she started school. She is an actress best known for her role as Rory Gilmore in the television series The Gilmore Girls.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler (1981 - ). The daughter of a father who was both a Sephardic Jew and the son of immigrants from Greece and Romania and a mother who was a Cuban-born convert to Judaism. She is best known for her role as a gangster's daughter on the HBO series The Sopranos though I must confess my first memory of her occurred when she played a guest role on Ugly Betty.

Cameron Diaz (1972 - ). The daughter of a Cuban-American father and a mother of English, German and Cherokee descent. A former model who made her movie acting debut in 1994's The Mask and who has been active in movies ever since.

Joanna Leanna García (1979 - ). Daughter of a Spanish-American homemaker and a Cuban-born gynecologist. Best known for a starring role in the CW sitcom Reba and a recurring role in the TV show Freaks and Geeks, she is currently appearing in the TV show Better with You.
