English actor Jon Finch, best known for playing the title role in Roman Polanski's 1971 film Macbeth as well as the lead male role in Alfred Hitchcock's 1972 thriller Frenzy, took his last break on December 28, 2012, at age 71. Science fiction fans might also remember him as the guy who played Jerry Cornelius in the 1973 adaptation of Michael Moorcock's novel The Final Programme, a film not exactly fondly remembered by Mr. Moorcock and most sci-fi fans.
Anyway, he will be missed.
