R.I.P. La Hija de Mi Amiga

One of my friends called me this past Saturday to tell me that her daughter had committed suicide. She left behind two daughters of her own, one who was 5 years old and another who was 9. She also left behind a seventeen-year-old son. At this point, there is no telling what will happen to any of the children.

However, as far as my friend is concerned, the daughter -- despite all her faults -- has been missed and is still being missed as I write this.

I can't think of anything else to say at this moment.
