R.I.P. Oscar Hijuelos
Cuban-American author Oscar Hijuelos, most famous for his novel The Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love (the first novel by a Latino to win the Pulitzer Prize for fiction), finished his final chapter on October 12 at age 62.
He will be missed.
