Doctor Who (Second Series): “The Impossible Planet” and “The Satan Pit”
It's Doctor Who versus Satan. Plus a few homages to Aliens and The Black Hole as well. These two episodes were among the better episodes of the second season though I still found them to be a bit derivative for my taste.
And one couldn't help feeling sorry for Rose Tyler when she talked about settling down with the Doctor -- and found out that the Doctor isn't really a settling-down-type of guy.
But then we all knew that, right?
I found the whole “let's bypass the morality of slavery question by making the slaves evil” theme to be a bit dubious. But, as a whole, the two episodes were a lot more entertaining than they deserved to be.
