¡Feliz Cumpleaños, C. M. Kornbluth!
AKA Cyril M. Kornbluth.
Born July 2, 1923. Died March 21, 1958.
He was the author/co-author of so many classic science fiction stories, novellas and novels that it seems ridiculous to name them all. My favorite of his novels was Not This August but he is probably better known as the author of "The Marching Morons," a novella that indirectly inspired the Mike Judge movie Idiocracy.
He was dead before I was born yet I still miss his impact on the science fiction genre. He has been missed.
