R.I.P. Elaine L. Konigsburg
American writer Elaine L. Konigsburg, best known for winning the 1968 Newbery Medal for her novel From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, finished the last page of her autobiography last Friday at age 83.
She will be missed.
